Pomegranate Haz-Mat Suits
Ye flavorful, exotic fruit.
Thy colors strange, thy berries cute!
You're sometimes sour, sometimes sweet;
Pomegranates stain our feet!
Now we don our special suits
To keep from staining feetz with fruits.
"The Pomegranate"
~ from "Ruminations on Fruit: Vol. 1"
by Calvin the Small

Silent Cal is silent no more. Ruminations provoke ones jaw to hit the floor!
ReplyDeletePip-Pip to you, Marifun, well done, dame Fun,
ReplyDeleteWELL DONE! It's me, Cal, but Google does not
recognize my authority on this account.
Dame Marifun, what does that mean?
Who knew that one so small could ruminate and rhyme, especially of a fruit whose taste is sublime. You wax poetic when your're silence seemed prophetic. You do astound with your verse profound.

ReplyDeleteMarifun, would you remind repeating that for me just one more time? It would be a comfort since Google won't let me sign "Calvin the Small"...merely (sniff...)
ReplyDeleteA non-a-Mouse...and i NOT a mouse!
A mouse you are not, but Calvin is famous with his Hobbs and Google is confuzzled. Handsome piggie you are, but you need an account to discombubble the puzzled.
