For once, somebody's telling the truth around here. Meet Sir Dom, the Italian Greyhound (or Iggie) that mom's friend, Ann who lives in Seattle, brought over today for playtime! Mom and Ann hadn't seen one another in years and Ann brought lots of neat stuff, like flowers, and food, and Sir Dom! Fresh kale for us (even though certain pigs, whose names I won't mention, like Bear and YumYum didn't deserve it)
Sir Dom is a royal dog and possesses the courage of a knight...but something about the Buddha statue out on the deck...well, the courage of a knight, as we were saying.
Mom and her friend and Sir Dom had the best time. And nobody bit mom's hand today.
We hope they come back soon!!
"Who can know what effect our smallest acts of kindness may have on others? Perhaps the most important contribution of Mother Teresa, who serves the most destitute and neglected, is that she instills in those who have been abandoned the realization that they too are loved." ~ Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj ~ Panda Pig's Peace Sanctuary exists so that abandoned, neglected, sick, and dying guinea pigs may experience that they, too, are cherished and loved!

Sir Dom and I had so much fun visiting the PandaPigSanctuary household today. Yes, the statue out on the deck did kind of spook Dominic at first (although he won't admit it!) but he recovered. But those guinea pigs had the most unusual smells and made the funniest noises! That kept DommyDom on his toes. The walk along Lake Whatcom was delightful, except for those OTHER dogs that pestered Dominic. "How dare they walk on the trail that I was supposed to have all to myself?!" he exclaimed, "and what horrendous manners!". Remember Dom, not all canines are as refined as your royal self. All in all, the visit was delightful and we most certainly will return.
