Couple a letters from him and maybe her doctors might discover they actually DO have the TIME to check the little boxes that would get her a motorized wheelchair, scooter, and things she needs to live independently
and get to the market (only 2 blocks away - geez! but uphill) for our treats! We are gonna kick some
medical BUTT and Kick It Good! We here, we may seem queer, so we just sneer, get away from here!

ReplyDeleteI know that the thought of moving makes your pretty little head spin. However, it might mean getting all your favorite veggie treats, etc. would be much easier for your Mom. And since we know that the world revolves around you and the Mahals, you might want to consider this to be a GOOD thing. If I know your Mom, and indeed I DO know her pretty well, this potential move will be thought out with great care (that is, when her brain isn't fogged up). We'll give her all kinds of time and support her in whatever decision she makes, right? I didn't hear you....I said RIGHT? That's better. So, kick back and enjoy the ride so-to-speak. You know that she has your best interest at heart in whatever she does. Can't ask for much more than that. PLUS (and this is a BIG plus) you'd get to see me & DommyDom more often (like more than the once that you've seen us, which was a very shy day for both you and Sir Dom as I recall -- I barely saw the fur on your little noggin').
Well, that's it for now. Don't let your Mom stay on the 'puter too long. You and the Mahals need to learn how to chant "step away from the keyboard, step away from the keyboard, step away from the keyboard". There you go, I knew you could do it!

ReplyDeleteWell, since DommyDom isn't ... well ... contained in an enclosure, he can come right up and get in my FACE! He nudges me, paws my arm (I have several scratch marks to prove it), and does mischievous things (like antagonizing Camille) to get me to pay attention to HIM and STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD! As I commented someplace before (maybe on the MOD blog), DommyDom has his own definition of a MOD, although he adds one additional letter: MNOD = Mind NOT on DommyDom! I'm sure that you have similar modifications of "MOD" to include YOU. Because we all know, of course, that the world revolves around the furry critters in the household. Down here it is #1 DommyDom (only because he is biggest and can raise the most ruckus), and #2 Camille. Don't let DommyDom know, but it is actually Camille who rules the roost around here -- and it should be. She was here first! I'm pretty sure that in your household, YOU are #1. The #2 position is held equally between Raj & Taj. Of course your Mom holds the lowly position of "slave", as do I. It could be worse. We have such lovely furry friends, so it is (almost) worth being lowered to such a level.
Well, that is the LONG and short of it for today. I hope that your Mom had a great time up at Artist Point with her friends from Seattle. She needed to get out of the place, right? I don't know what kind of a day it is up in Bellingham, but down here it is beautiful. So what am I doing sitting inside at the computer?? Dunno!
