Raj waits patiently beginning tonight because he doesn't understand the time difference between England and the Pacific Northwest and wants to make sure he doesn't miss Santa when he arrives with Fairy wrapped up all ready for Christmas with him...the rest of the herd (after much eye-rolling and making "cuckoo!" gestures) agreed to bring him food and treats for his vigil. Mum gonna pet him and keep him company cuz she knows how he feels.
Not really.
But she would wait like that for a guinea pig!
I see the potential for a long wait.
ReplyDeleteOh NO . . . . my dear Raj, there has been an unexpected hic-cup at my end. I am unable to set off as planned and according to our secret arrangements. The thing is, we have overloaded the fridge and if I am not here to see to the even dispersal of its contents then there will be hay-to-pay. It's NO GOOD leaving all that delegating to Marigold, she is far too busy pruning Mariella, we KNOW that's what she does because Mariella's white bits ARE GREEN. Naughty Marigold. So you see, I will just have to hold the fort for a little while longer.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, can you keep you paws on The Shovel, it sounds like it is getting overused to me.
And Mousie-whats-her-name . . . she will need some special Christmas love, her first Christmas in her NEW HOME.
And your MUM, give her some Christmas cuddles from you, and tell her tey are from ME . . . and the rest of your clan, pass on our heartiest, saladdy greetings for a jolly lovely day.
We love you ALL, Fairy xxx
