Video | Opening Ceremony: The uniforms | NBC Olympics
Edwin miraculously walked into the Olympics and scored a seat to Opening Ceremonies within two hours of the start. He sat only feet from the Athlete's entrance and even got an autograph from the Armenian alpine skier while she marched with her team! His face is actually on this video. He had fun!
"Who can know what effect our smallest acts of kindness may have on others? Perhaps the most important contribution of Mother Teresa, who serves the most destitute and neglected, is that she instills in those who have been abandoned the realization that they too are loved." ~ Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj ~ Panda Pig's Peace Sanctuary exists so that abandoned, neglected, sick, and dying guinea pigs may experience that they, too, are cherished and loved!
Dear Panda,
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day!!!
We hope your mom feels better soon. Please tell her thank you for her kind wishes that helped me through the job interview process.
Just finished watching all the videos from the opening ceremonies. Thank you for giving me the links so I could do that! That's so cool that Edwin was there!
The son and daughter of an acquaintance of mine were in the opening ceremonies. I think she said that they were in the First Nations part. It's been a long time since I've watched the Olympics -- mostly because I haven't had a television. It's wonderful to be able to watch it on the Internet, isn't it?
It's late again. Oboe and I need to get some sleep. Tomorrow may include more job-related talking on the telephone.
I didn't see the two swans, but earlier today I saw a flock of large birds in the sky and thought about swans. Now I'm wondering what I did see.
Did you know that Wood's Coffee has an American Flag in one of their window during the Olympics?
That's all for now. Please say hello to all at the art farm!
Love,
am
