A NOSTALGIC LOOK BACK AT MOLLY'S OWL BOX: WESLEY HATCHING
Dear Readers,
As you all know by now, we are devoted MODS (Molly Obsessive Disorder) now beginning (with 5,000plus other MODS) to experience "empty nest syndrome" as the little hatchling you are about to see is beginning his flights with Molly and learning to hunt on his own.
We think.
He also still stays in the box hissing, stomping, and flapping until Molly comes with food, but his hissy-fit
days seem numbered.
So, as we prepare to say farewell to our 4 precious owlets and their mom and dad, Molly and McGee,
we also wanted to take a few trips down memory lane for those of you just joining us as we begin the
process of saying goodbye not only to our precious owlets, and Molly's Box, but also to the thousands
of friends from all around the world we have made on TWITTER... we have grown close together and
learned to love strangers who, in the end, remind us that we really all have far more in common with
one another than we ever would have believed. We are, in essence, one in all and our shared love for
these owls has given us all a true, new Family!
To mom for putting the computer by our cage, to Molly and McGee, to our four baby owlets-now owls,
and to Carlos and Donna Royal who have let over 14 MILLION viewers into their lives, we thank you
all for an experience you simply had to be here to fully appreciate!

After hiring Captain "Sully" Sullenberger, famed pilot for landing on the Hudson River last year,
our little Wes got his flight training certification and is now one of the "big boys" (actually, the
other 3 owlets all girls, we think, meaning Wes may be the ONLY boy!)
HE FLYING HIGH NOW!
Please enjoy. We do not know how much longer they will return home to their owl box so this
storybook tale is nearing its end...sob, sob, go the MODS!
