lives in the Epicenter with her husband, horses,

dogs, and animals. They escaped.

They are helping their neighbors and their

neighbors' animals...but many have lost

Our friend YahooRose and her husband, their animals and their ranch sit right in the middle of this out-of-control wildfire. They safely evacuated and spent the entire night helping neighbors get their own horses out but many remain in harm's way as the fires only grow in intensity and weather forecasts are for record-breaking heat, a directional change in the wind, and there are even wind turbines in the area.
Mainly, there are so many farm animals and wildlife in this area...please send some love. Washington is now in a State of Emergency. We live on the West side of the mountains near the water but our air quality is diminishing...thank you for your care.

By the Way, if you notice to the right of the broadcast,  there is an EPIC FIRE
BURNING OUT OF CONTROL IN EASTERN WASHINGTON
WHERE ONE OF OUR PRECIOUS MOD/OWL FRIENDS 
LIVES WITH HER HUSBAND ON A RANCH.
Yahoo Rose is all right, they managed to evacuate all their
horses and spent the entire night helping neighbors save 
theirs. She said her neighbors have lost EVERYTHING 
and the fire is only growing worse with record-breaking
HEAT on the way so if you would, please send some love
to those dear souls and all of their families, loved ones,
and animals struggling to get out of harm's way and
for our courageous firefighters, too.
We lost four firefighters just north of there years back
and only ask that everyone be cared for.

HOW GUINEA PIGS SULK.
(TURN AWAY BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!)

IN MEMORIAM:PRECIOUS MARIGOLD HAS LEFT US

Up until her final days at the Thatched Cottage with Fairy, Mr. Bear, and her mice, Marigold was such a happy girl and we will remember her that way: Sneaking into Mr. Bear's "Holiday sherry" once he was too tipsy to notice her nose stuck in his glass!
A Very Merry Girl, Marigold was always up for
a Great Adventure, she was!

Sadly, she passed yesterday leaving Fairy, Anita, and Ian to celebrate a life well-lived, their Very Special Girl, bringing joy 
to all whom she met.

What's funny is how sad we felt yesterday, not knowing why.
Today we recognize that Marigold had come to say good-bye before we received the news: She'd been ill and now she is free.

Animals are like that & guinea pigs are especially sensitive:
I still smell PandaPig's sweet, musky scent years after his
work here was done, and it reminds me that as long as we
keep those we love in our hearts, no drop of love is ever lost,
no pig forgotten...for they have become part of who we are.

Marigold, we can't help missing you. 
We send all our love to your mischievous partner-in-crime,
 Mr. Bear...and most of all to Fairy and your mum
and Dad, Ian and Anita.

We've all become such dear, dear friends through our guinea pigs.
And Molly the Owl.
And all whom we have ever loved and been loved back in
return remain in our hearts, opening doors to subtler nuances
of the Secret Emotional World of our dear brothers and sisters,
large and small, who - in the end - turn out to be the ones who actually rescue us.

Marigold, you will be missed. And your joyful life celebrated:
We love you.
