Dear Readers,

Mom just received a photograph from our favorite Cavy/Chinchilla MOD, code name "STupidA" of owlet wearing hat.
We have hats too, MODS, and wear them with pride! This is an authentic Peruvian alpaca hat (as we are all originally from the Andes) given to mom by a customer shopping at the alpaca store on a dare that mom would put them on us then email pics to the store owner who, soon after went out of business. (oopsie!)
But, HEY, don't blame us: am I dapper, or just too precious for words? Methinks BOTH!

When Eric Blehm's new company starts marketing MOLLY gag-shag hats we know mom will be the first to buy three, one for each of us to sport that MOD Owlet Owlbox look!

P.S. Did we mention that mom has been invited to the Amazon to participate in a documentary film on the
healing effect of indigenous herbs on those enjoying incurable diseases? Yup! An entire month in October
and her chance at stardom at every major independent film festival in the world. She turned it down, telling
her inviter "I could never leave my guinea pigs" and the inviter implied that mom loved us more than getting
well! OF COURSE SHE DOES. And we love her right back! Sheesh, have you not learned that guinea
pig love is the best love? READ THE BLOG, PEEPS!

LOOK FAMILIAR?

Dear Readers,

Mom has actually got the Mahals tame enough to dine on her lap above a pillow covered with a towel, to avoid this kind of bad behavior and groom their fur as they devour breakfast. They make me look like an angel, though, so no complaints from me!
I used to be the "outlaw" and still is, but they's worse! Hee-Hee, love them bad Mahals, although for the first time yesterday
mom and I saw them sleeping against one another inside their pigloo like the true brothers they are. It was funny but made
me miss Panda. And even Bear the Beaver Pig; we miss both of them every day.

And those owlets are growing in quantum leaps which is how Molly snached that mouse out of McGee's talons last night: with
ONE giant, terrifying (to us) quantum LEAPING CHARGE AT HIM, before throwing McGee back OUT! We watched her feed those little bobbleheads until we
felt too sad for the mouse because we, too, are small rodents and feel for the prey and if anyone lectures me on how necessary small rodents are
to keep predators alive, I will demonstrate ONE DEFIANT PIG LEAPING WITH TEETH READY TO CHOMP! the "Circle of Life" is Communist Propaganda and if you believe in it, you more stupis than mom!

Would I lunge at a believer of "The Circle of LIFE?" Just ask mom's hand! We will not the movie "The Lion King" and believe the only good circle is one full of freshly harvested, organic produce: for US!

MOM! FOOD FIGHT!

Dear Readers,
As you can see, Taj is asking mom for food. Again! Acting like they've never seen food before. Again!
Mom gives them the heart of an organic romaine lettuce thingy.
What do these loving brothers do with it?
That's right: FOODFIGHT!
Again.
And now that Taj can shake his head all the way 'round like an owl, Raj is baffled, befuddled, and bemused.
Mainly, Raj is wondering how he can snatch the treat all for himself.
But he is also baffled, befuddled, and bemused.
I am fascinated by the politics of Food Fights...I never had one. PandaPig shared everything with me.
And I wanted to eat Bear the Beaver Pig as much as I wanted to eat what he was eating.
And now that I am alone in my cage watching those two clowns,
I think I will just watch Molly's Owl Box and wait for egg #3 to hatch because then mom will be so excited
we will ALL get treats! Wheeeek!
Hatch, I say: Hatch NOW.

MOM, STEP AWAY FROM THE OWL BOX AND FEED US NOW!

MOM, DID YOU TELL THE MODS HOW I CHIRP LIKE MOLLY?

Dear Friends, Readers, and MODS,

Do you know that I am one of the rare guinea pigs who "chirps?" and that now, having been listening to Molly for months,
I surprise the herd and startle mom whenever I feel like it by Chirping Like Molly? Yupper! First time it happened they got REALLY got
their freak on, because we were Molly-watching (of course!) but it was ME!
Taj Mahal! Mom says it's already special that my pretty ear is two-toned, just like my bottom lip,
and that I am a silky Abyssinian,
but my adroit skills at audibly mimicking
Molly's "McGee, get your tushie in here and FEED ME! Then, and only then, may you have your way with me!" well, oh,
mom tells everybody that I am THAT SPECIAL! It's wonderful being me...sigh...so wonderful.

And since I rarely post a message on our Blog, I would like to give a special "Shout-Out" to every member of "The Black Sheep Rebellion" who made history! Now Carlos talks to us TWEETERS like we's all as special as me!

So wonderful...to be me...sigh.

GOOD MORNING, OWLETS!

Dear Readers,

Since my toenails are the prettiest this morning, I, Raj Mahal, have officially chosen myself to welcome new baby owlets into the world on behalf of the "Herd that Hears" here at PandaPigSanctuary!

And welcome to any new MODS who have joined our blog about life as a magnificent cavy...you watch rodents being eaten inside Molly's Owl Box, but here you can see how we LIVE! How beautiful, sweet, affectionate, playful, and loving we are with
a big sense of humor and lots of Popcorn Giggles!

Do you know what popcorning is? In our lexicon, it is when we are too happy to contain so much GLEE inside our little bodies so we run and POP into the air, all four feet airborne, land, then take off at full speed, only to rise once more into the air! We's like popcorn, only guinea pigs, see?!
Although, in YumYum's case, he giggles so hard that sometimes he rolls over on his side, kicking out his little guinea pig feet before jumping upright at full speed, arching his fluffily Mohawked BackFur, then flying vertically into the air like a bucking bronco! He runs madly about, popping in his own peculiar way, in our RunAround Pen over and over, bucking and popping until mom is on the floor laughing too hard to breathe! Guess we think he's funny, too, just not as dignified as we are...but, he was the runt of the litter, wears his mohawk proudly, is half our size, and DAILY crowns himself AlphaPig of the herd...sigh. Taj and I just go along
with it then tell funny stories about him each evening at dusk, while mom is on "McGee Watch." (Now
an exercise in futility, although fun to watch Molly wing-whack him, throw him out, and demand food!)
Good thing for mom we don't have wings...not that we would EVER!

We are the Guinea Pig Nation. And now YOU are FAMILY, too!

Hello. How are you today? Fine, I hope. Oh? How are we? Well, mom is in bed sick and...

Our computer crashed, we lost our homepage, we can no longer link you to cool stuff, and the most brilliant blog post I have ever written in the history of our blog simply vanished from the screen just now, so here is a picture of me being cute as a baby. We need a time-out from the computer because it has given mom a headache and I want to---

never mind!  It's all good. p.s. as a result of the black sheep rebellion's success, Carlos got onto the social stream for a LIVE chat
with we TWEETERS late last night where, much to our horror and surprise, we discovered from him
that the average lifespan of a barn owl in the wild is like 20.5 months or something! EEK. They can
live longer, even over 20 years in captivity, but the challenges facing them in the wild are many and
well...we so glad we here at PandaPigSanctuary and now we not so jealous of the Molly Box. Aw, gee.
