(We admit that many our favorite bright & lovely, plush, 
cuddlies - such as our BIG CARROT- are in the laundry due to this being leap-year. But now that the leap has successfully been made by that piggie in the Guiness Book of World Records, those colorful, luxurious, luscious lovelies we have all come to covet for ourselves shall mysteriously reappear in all piggie cages...
and, BTW, they are all gifts from so many loving, generous friends we cannot thank you enough!)

Mom is really enjoying her new art studio, library, yoga and
 T'ai Chi space drenched with ?sunlight? and the bloomin' purple orchid from Trader Joe; sitting in her big, stuffed chair meditating; reading poetry while savoring a piping hot chai latte, dreaming.


Yes, that is Vinny's new BIG cage on the bottom, still being "tweeked" EXACTLY to his idiosyncratic liking until all cords and things that make blinds go up and down. etc. are removed and they get to go on supervised RUNABOUT while the others chase them from to and fro from inside the sanctity of their own Big Cages and when they chew up mom's art she will simply charge more calling it "performance art" although how, when, and where she will make it remains a mystery inside the art, yoga, T'ai Chi & meditation Sacred Space she remembers  
if only inside her imagination 
In a galaxy far, far away

Mom will meditate no matter what. So?

TIME AND LOVE, FRIENDSHIP AND
SUPPORT, NON-JUDGEMENTAL, EVEN
SILENT COMPANIONSHIP BLOW IT OUT
TO SEA LEAVING THE BEREAVED WAITING
EMPTY-HEARTED ON THE SHORE KNOWING
THAT A NEW ONE NEEDS LOVE AND IT IS TIME
TO OPEN BACK UP TO LOVE ONCE MORE.

VINNY-GUINEA'S NEW VILLA NEXT DOOR TO GEORGE CLOONEY

 

A lot of people think George Clooney's 
Italian Villa is the bee's knees. But I just 
got mine and I disagrees! Look at my lips,
I am starting to smile again after the...the...

Last night mom put my Big House together
and it was like suddenly I became a man.
Just look at me!  All by myself with my own
Big Leaf and nobody to show me what
to do. My smile may be goofy but
that's what makes me so adorable.
And mom giggles when I smile like a man!

I still gotta work on this manly-man-eating!

A HAPPY BABY VINNY-GUINEA AT LONG LAST...

 

My First Forever Home!

 

Just a midnight snack to thank you for
encouraging mom to give me the
best she had to give.
Now I am certain that my "Bits"
will descend with the rest of my
man-parts now that they have
a place of their own.
Right? Am I right?
(no, seriously, where are they?)

VINNY'S NEW BIG CAGE: ME WANTS IT!

 

YOU would think Bhindi-Shark-Fin would be thrilled to
see lil'Vinny finally get his own BigCage because it's 
designed with a two-door castle and cuddle tunnels he
can race through at full speed, popcorning with GLEE
squealing in pure JOY while his cage is both adjacent and
attached to Bhindi and YumYum's so they can even steal
one another's fresh timothy hay, nuzzle noses, rumblestrut,
and, well, have it all!


Bhindi Shark Fin even got a long runabout tonight
while Vinny's cage was being put together and done
"just so" for the lil'Piglet nobody wants to live with...


And Vinny's been in a makeshift runabout fencing cage
for about four days, so finally he's free to be all he can be: 
VinnyGuinea, Speedy Gonzales, super-scooting-
popcorning-whiz-of-speed-blur-SUPER-WHEEK!


Now Bhindi Shark-Fin wants to chew through the
bars of his own exclusive designer man-cave to conquer 
Vinny's first ever home to expand his Shark-Fin EMPIRE!


Little Fairy, buyer beware. We know you have
developed a small crush on Bhindi Shark-Fin,
but aren't you Brit cavies well-mannered and polite? 
Don't even ASK WHAT HE'S LIKE ON ESPRESSO,
SAVE YOURSELF WHILE THERE'S STILL TIME!


Now all three cages are adjacent and touching,
they can even rub noses, rumblestrut, and race parallel
to one another...their hay bins, food bowls,
and mini hay bales are also parallel, so
whatever one is doing, the others can happily
jump in and they can still be together, just safely!


We have noticed a definite slow-down in
YumYum which dearly hope is a characteristic
of old age, as he could still tear the fur outta
Vinny and lunge at SharkFin in the blink of
an eye, and he's eating and drinking, but
he is less active, so we're giving extra love
and keeping an eye out, still a little terrified
about exposure to that incurable pneumonia,
feeling that if it was going to show symptoms,
he would have already. Yummy has to be
between 5-7 years old already and he is
happy and purrs, loves his scritchy-scratches, 
rolls over on his side and kicks his feet out
in delight...just quiet is all. And in the
company of gregarious, unneutered young bucks
gunning to take over the role of Alpha Male.
Not gonna happen.

new piggies, loves them, loves them!"

For the benefit of our many worldwide friends who do not know
what a MOD (Molly Obsessive Disorder) is or those of us who
appear, post, & comment with names recognized only by
other MODS...BTW, my own "handle" was "1SkatrPie" because
I used to be a short-track speedskater and received a fresh
macadamia nut pie (source of MacNutPie's name) shipped
OVERNIGHT FROM HAWAII with love from my dear, dear friends in San Diego & Kestra!


Due to a mix-up between FED-X overnight delivery, UPS,
the United States Postal Service and...well, Bellingham being
Bellingham, the pie arrived two weeks late but was nonetheless
DELICIOUS! Thanks Papa & Mama Pie & Kestra. It was
an endless summer...that had an end but will never be forgotten.


There will be a special MOD memorial Friday night at 

our regular MOD Movie Night. Bring your hankies.
